Serving students in Santa Rosa County, Florida in grades 9-12.
At Santa Rosa Acceleration Academies, we offer a blended learning model that allows students to work in person and at home, year-round.
With extended on-site hours, students focus on one course at a time and can complete coursework around their schedule. When working from home, students can receive remote support to help keep them on track in their courses.
Our unique approach meets each student where they are with a balance between autonomy and the support they need to complete the required courses to earn their high school diploma.

Available to students in grades 6-12 referred to Acceleration Academies by their local school.
Students in the alternative education placement program should not submit an Acceleration Academies online application. Your contact information will be given to our registrars and we will reach out directly to you for enrollment.
Santa Rosa Acceleration Academies (SRAA) provides a new supportive alternative education pathway for students. Acceleration Academies ensures that every student benefits from a team of dedicated content coaches and mentors who craft personalized learning plans to meet each student’s unique academic and socio-emotional needs while providing an opportunity for learning in a welcoming environment with flexible scheduling.

Acceleration Academies is tuition-free! Free snacks and drinks are provided in the academy café.

Our staff of certified teachers and mentors provide wrap-around support for students, who we call Graduation Candidates.
- Graduation Candidate Advocates (GCAs) implement motivational strategies to ensure students are attending the academy, provide curriculum support, and address non-academic barriers.
- Career and Life Coaches develop learning pathways, behavior, and transition plans to improve student achievement. They also lead in the development of personalized learning plans for students, support and coach students for required state assessments and exams, and ensure that every student masters the content on the path to high school graduation and beyond.
- Engagement Coaches provide a positive presence in the academy community to maintain an orderly and safe learning environment for all.
Our collaborative approach provides students with support for understanding life challenges while developing their own personal growth plan, self-regulation strategies, and paths beyond graduation.
Staff are trained in restorative practices, nonverbal and verbal de-escalation, and provide positive behavioral interventions and support.
Chromebooks and headsets will be provided at the academies and students can check out a Chromebook if they are able to work from home

The academy learning environment includes a bright setting with flexible table arrangements, multi-textured furniture, and communal seating

Santa Rosa County School District bus transportation will be provided through designated hub stops. Locations TBD.

Attendance requirements will vary based on transportation needs and program and will be discussed during orientation. It's likely that attendance will be a 3-4 hour timespan on site.

Serving Middle and High School
Santa Rosa Acceleration Academies works in partnership with Santa Rosa County District Schools, to offer an alternative education option for middle and high school students in Santa Rosa County, Florida.
Comprehensive Student Support
Mentors and life coaches address nonacademic barriers faced by young adults. Students receive academic coaching, encouragement, and support from their content coaches. Students will learn to develop their own personal growth plan, self-regulation strategies, and paths beyond graduation.
Quality Staff Members & Academics
Our staff of certified teachers provide personalized and small group instruction both in-person and virtually to ensure that students are making academic progress and mastering content in their courses.
